Bow holders

I need ideas for portable bow holders. I like the style with the bow resting on both limbs forward side facing down. We need to make a couple of these and I believe portability and storability are important.

I would like to make these myself to keep the cost down. These are going to be for the new archery program Camoman, aka Kevin Hircock, has worked to help organize at the Wildwood Hills Ranch.

Your knowledge and ideas are what I am looking for right now. I figure these have been done before and I didn't want to reinvent the wheel.

i can't really explain it too well on here, but some could be made with some 1/2" conduit, 4 90 degree elbows,(could be eliminated with some time with a conduit bender) 4 small eye bolts (and nuts) a couple lengths of light chain, and some foam pipe wrap insulation.

1 bow, 2 bow`s, or 10 . how portable? might try small square stock, weld an angle or two for 1 or 2 bow`s then dip the top (angle`s ) in rubberized coating. weld point on ground end , for puting it into the ground easyer. shouldn`t take long to make if you got a welder and a chop saw or saw-zall, and a grinder for the point.

I got tired of waiting and bougth most of what you discrib teeroy. I have a bender and will try and get it put together in the morning. I'll post a photo.

Here is what I put together. Pretty much what you discribed teeroy. I think I'll use a piece of good nylon rope instead of chain and call it good.

Great job, Mike ! The camp will love these because they are very portable and won't take up much storage space. Can't wait for the summer program to begin.
