I have had alot of presses. If you are wanting to do just yours I'd opt for a ratchet lock. Fairly inexpensive and portable for out of state hunt emergencies. The Toad Presses are a good value as well (archerytalk.com) The skies the limit on presses.
I have a press from Wes at www.hydra-press.com on order. It looks like a great press for the money and I don't have the time to build one myself. It should arrive late this week and I can't wait to get my SB back in specs though sending to Cracker's is probably the best option from what ya'll been saying.
Problem is. That apple won't fit very many bows these days.......I have a brand new Apple Pro Comp Hercules sitting in the box in my Garage I'll sell it for 240.00 Shipped if anyone wants it .. The Ultra Press will do em all....It is thee last bow press you will ever need regardless of bow configuration you may opt for next year..... long risers short risers...... flat limbs to conventional limbs....... I appreciate the referal Rack and am Glad you like your new Press..... They come in plated steel finish so you can paint them any color you choose ........... Hoyts are to be pressed on the limbs only per Hoyt...If that is how the biggest Manufacturer in archery presses theirs . I'll press mine that way too!!!.. You can't do that with Roller presses...... plain and simple..... The adjustment is there in the Ultra press's telescoping rail system to get your lower pins in the limb pockets with limb contact to get the geometry correct to easily press your bow with the least amount of force......... we take Paypal .... Normally we list them for 174.99 on e-bay. but seeing I have the press referred here from a buyer I will pass Archerytalk savings on to Iowawhitetail guys too..... 155.00 TYD shipping in the lower 48 paypal 155.00 to truegritt@netzero.net to place your order. We ship in the order we receive payment..
Great to be back on Iowawhitetail.com
