Bow Quiver

I'm in the market for a high-quality quick-detach, single piece bow quiver.

Have been hearing and reading some very good things about Alpine Archery's "Soft Loc" quivers. Has anyone tried on of these?

How about Trophy Ridge's "Hunter"?

Others that you've really liked?...

Alpines are the way to go. If you want a nice matching Hoyt quiver to go with your bow, let me know, I have a two piece and single detachable one as well that will both fit on your bow...CHEAP.

I like the Alpine. My only hang up with it is the foam insert. Like all of them, they get chewed up so fast. You can sure replace them easily enough. I loaned my Alpine 3 arrow quiver out because I was using my 2 piece on my bow. I decided I wanted to take it off for one reason or another and istead of asking for mine back, I bought a Bohning Lynx 4 arrow quiver. I really like the thing. It's like the Kwikee Kwiver in that it has rubber inside the head instead of foam. I do like the quick release lever on it better the KK.

The Alpine is certainly a solid quiver. The only other downside to it is the tree bracket for it is around $15.00. Other than that, no complaints.

Thanks for the comments, Doug. One thing I like about the Alpine is the geometric shape of the foam insert. That make it easy for me to make replacement inserts out of the closed-cell foam that they use for packing computers. We seem to have quite a bit of it around the office, and I've used it in the past to make replacement inserts. I suppose only a redneck like me would even have that a consideration when selecting a new quiver...
