Bow Stand ??

For those of you that use a bow stand like the Western Rec bowstand I've seen in your pics, do they affect your accuracy any (do you have to adjust your pins accordingly?)? I'm thinking of getting one if my local archery shop has one, but I won't have time to adjust my pins prior to my Easter weekend turkey hunt if that's necessary. Thanks!

I dont think you are suppose to shoot with one those on?

Are you blind hunting?

I have a metal hook that I plastic dip that I hook to one of the roof rods in the blind. I like it a lot better than having my bow sitting on the ground. I dont like to have my cam in the dirt or worry about having something to sit it on.

Dont have to reach down and pick it up less movement.

I see now that primos is selling ones like this only mine are rigid and thiers are flexible. Menards sells something like it only its longer. I thought about getting one and trying it out. Cut it down or you may have to double it over to get it to work.

This is the one I use. Not sure of the brand but I bought it from cabelas. I absolutely love it. I like having my bow on the ground. I have tried the hanging thing but bow was always in the way of me moving around looking for birds. I can adjust it however I need it. When you are sitting on a steep angle is about the only time you really need to adjust it. It is always sitting there ready to go and does not affect accuracy. You can lay down a small rag to have the cam sit on it to prevent mud from getting on the string. Also doubles up as emergency TP! :)

I have tried a couple different ground bow stands and didnt like any of them. Livs looks better than these but I'm sticking with my hook. If any one wants to try one of these Id be happy to let you have them.

Thanks, guys! Yes, I'll be in a ground blind when I try to fill one of my tags with my bow. On this short of notice (leaving Thursday), I can probably pick up a coated hook at Home Depot or Ace here in town. Great idea, but I like the one you show, too, Liv! I can plan ahead for next year for that one.

I have the one in cooters first picture, works awesome. I even had it on when I did a 3D shoot last week

I had problems keeping the wing nut tight enough on the right leg it would loosen and fall over when I set my bow down. Thought about using loc tight on it.

Did you have this problem?
