Bowhunt the same stands even after gun season??

I was just wondering if I could get some input on whether or not most bowhunters here hunt the same stands they did before gun season or if they change it upand move thier stands??And if so what are some good locations for after gun season since the deer are obviously more timid now.......

Find the active food source and know the bedding areas and hunt the ground in between. If your stands for early season fall into the location, hunt them but most of the time, I move to the locations near the bedding area to try and intercept them as they filter out of the woodwork.

I'm with shredder. It is all about current food preferences and bedding. An ideal stand is one between the food and bedding that you can get into and out of undetected. Of course ideal stands are tough to find. Also it is easier to find good late season evening stands than morning stands.

Good hunting!

I agree with these guys. One thing I like to do this late in the game though is set up as close to the bedding area as I can without spooking deer.Seems like after being chased around by bow and shotgun hunters since Oct they come out very late and right now they will sometimes bed a long ways from thier food source.Where i shot mine the other night if I followed the trail to the food souce they were bedded almost a mile from it, where they came through they were still 3/4 of a mile from it and would have never reached the food plot by dark, thats just what Ive observed around here anyway
