Brent Thie;or anyone out there,this is a follow up to my posting on 06.14 regarding my potential new hunting spot in Marshalltown.The farm is approx. 1 mile from the Iowa River;just outside of Marretta.It is located just off E29 and 330 on 2024 200 St.Does anyone know how this area stacks up? Thanks again.

Not too familiar with that area either but, if I were you I would jump on terra server and try to find the farm on there. It is a great way to scout without being there. Just a suggestion, sorry I can't help you further. One more thing I may do is contact the local DNR officer and ask him/her if they are familiar with the piece of ground. Good Luck.

I hunt close to the area...........I believe your friend is just South of the river........It shouldn't be bad at all......

John,one of these evenings I'll swing out by the area and report back as to what the area is like from the road.I always think rivers are good and around here a good chance for the only tree cover.It has been a nice spring here so far,crops are in great shape,so I hope your buck is eating well and growing a rack that is of monster size.
