Just curious as to what you guys use for sites on ur bow! im lookin for a new one.. just want one that will stay brighter without needin the light deal! within a reasonable price!?!?

Right now I shoot a Extreme Realtree RT900. It is extremely bright and a great sight! I have a couple new Spot-Hogg coming in though that I'm going to switch to, probalby put a Fitz Fiber outfit on them and be ready to chase long beards!

I don't know much about the specifics on them, but many of the 3 pic toxonics and cobra sights would fit the bill you described.

Toxonics are great sights for the money

Don't use the sidewinder personally but my brother and dad both use them, they are nice and bright at a fair price. I shoot a copper john, also nice and bright, maybe just a bit more than the cobra.

The Montana Black Gold Radiant and FlashPoint sights are the brightest out there in my opinion. I know they really stand out hanging on the hook as the brightest one in the package. They also have deep pins to protect the fibers a little more to help prevent breaking.

Yep, I agree. I bought the Flashpoint this past summer before my elk hunt out west. To me it was the best built and brightest sight on the market. Not too bad of a price - definitely not lower end but not a Spot Hogg either. I had a Toxonics before and it was great but I wasn't sure if it would hold up to the mountains.

HHA for me...great movable pin that lights up in the darkest of hours. When I first got it, I had my bow laying in the middle of the living room and I got up to get a drink at about 1 am and the pin was glowing in the dark from just a little street light coming in through the window....impressed me!

I think they can handle the thin air.

[/ QUOTE ]Yep, I have looked at them all. Nothing as bright as these. I have used the radiant for two seasons and you can see the pins when it's too dark to see the animal. These are sights are awesome. I have one on each of my bows and my wife has one on hers too. The radiant is cheaper and I have never wished for the flashpoint feature of lightening/darkening. I can shoot it on the brightest of days. Central IA Archery has them.
