I have a cousin from TX who was bit by a recluse. Took him a little over one year to have resolve. The scar tissue is terrible.

I have only seen one in the twenty five or so years I been doin this. It was butt ugly. Young lady got a bite on the face. Never did a follow up to see how she did but I'm guessin not well.

Speaking of spiders, I just read this about a new-found species of giant tarantula in Peru called the chicken-eating spider, big enough for the mother and her family to hunt down and drag off a chicken!

The cool part is that she keeps a little frog as a family pet in her burrow!
