Global Warming, is just that,,,Global. Has been unusually mild up in Alaska last two weeks! I have read Journals from Farmers from the 1940s when they reported daytime temps of -5 to -15 for two wks straight in IA. This little spell isn't much really.
I din't mean to turn this into a political post about "global warming". It was a joke. Please leave it at that.
I remember some days in January when it never got above zero for several straight days in the 1990's. I also remember the coming of the "new ice age" that made all the news in the early 1970's.
35 below is cold. Just plain cold. When it is like this it just makes the jokes about global warming all that funnier. Like my friend said the other day.. "just exactly what is supposed to be the downside of global warming anyway?"
I'll just throw another log on the fire and sit back with a cup of hot chocolate and smile about it all!!!

I alwyas knew Minnesotah was a little different. Your cold cause you got a centigrade thermometer. Reminds me of a clock that runs backwards, you never really know what time, or how cold, it really is.

The global warming migrated south, it's to cold up north for it right now.
