Buck breeding doe

Watched a 150 class, 4 1/2 year old 10 point breed a doe this morning. Seems a little early to me. Also saw 3 other bucks on the move (two 2 1/2's and a 3 1/2).

Then got down and hurried to Ames to watch the Cyclones play football with my son. Father's day at ISU. With hind sight he should have come down and joined me for a day of bowhunting. In case you didn't hear, ISU lost 3 to 42!

I'm with you on being early yet. I have not seen any sign in my areas that says we are even close to that type of activity in general.
