One of my good friends invited me to go hunting down on his land in southern iowa this past weekend and i was able to harvest my biggest buck yet! We got to our stands at around 5:45 or so and then at 7:30 my buck came behind me cruisin for does at about 20 yards. He was broadside to me, so i shot but hit him high and back. Luckily i spined him otherwise it would have made for a difficult recovery. I am very happy with him even though he broke off most of his left main beam.
