One more question, for you Knowledgeable Hunters: I plan on hunting on this 40 acre piece of property, I bought in SE Iowa. It has brushy ravines, and thick cover, also some openings. The best ambush sites are watching openings, between food plots, and brushy areas. The former owner hunted this, and tells me bucks will be seen walking up the obvious trails, during daylight, across openings. I am used to hunting in wooded and swamp situations, and it is hard for me to believe, I will see any decent bucks, crossing openings, except in near darkness. I plan on Bow Hunting, around and during rut, and I know bucks get less cautious then. What are your experiences? Thank You all very Much!!
