I went on my first morning hunt this season April 16. I went to a spot where I have shot turkeys in the past so I made the half mile treck in and got set up. No turkeys where gobbling on the roost that were close it was a quiet morning. At 7:00 am I looked up and two jakes were 150 yds across the marsh so I made a couple calls on the Woodhaven slate and they came in fast after they flew over the drainage ditch. I turned on my new toy (Tactacam) to get some footage plus I want to shoot one to get it on video but said no a longbeard or nothing then the unexpected happens.......
