The previous post about the Classic got me curious on if any of you guys go to the Burlington Show?
 
Yep. Go most years for a few hours (all my ears can take.) My son will enter the younger section of the youth calling contest for the second time. He got 5th last year as an 8yr. old calling against 12-13 yr. olds. I know the boy who won it moved up an age division. He might have a chance on top 3. Looking to buy him a better call there.

Well come on by the Lynch Mob Calls booth...Ill sure be there at some point...My father in law will surely set your boy up with a call!!!
 
Get a Zink call, great guys. I had a chance to work with them when I was in competitions. Fred Zink is a real nice guy and easy to work with.

if your little man wants some help on calling or his routine I'd be more then happy to help him. you can pm me and I will give you my number and we can hook up whenever you guys are there.
 
Here's my son (the shortest one) after the final callback had ended. These young guys do a great job keeping their cool..... I would be a nervous wreck!

Spoke with Fred a few years ago and he seemed to be about the most down to earth person you could meet. Very laid back. (Unlike a certain callmaker that is at the Calling Classic each year that I make my son skip his booth)

Lucky- I have always liked the Lynch Mob call sound and look. My son loves running as many calls as he can at the booths.

2dblind- Thanks for the offer! Always looking for advice. Have you competed before?

 
George loves to help kids out with calling...make sure you come by for sure and introduce yourself and your boy we would be happy to sit there and blow calls with him...also if he needs any help your more than welcome to contact me as well...
 
yeah I've competed the last 6 years or so and this year I am. I've lost track now, but its something like that. my offer stand if he wants anytime.
