When you put in the external battery mod on the camera so it can run off of a 6 volt, where do you put the battery when it's in the field. Do you just let it sit out in the open or do you cover it with something? Thanks.

Bass Pro sells a nice little plastic shotgun shell field case for $6.99. I can keep the battery and all my wires in the waterproof box.
