Anyone have any experience with the Cabelas telescoping saw/pruner? I am wanting to get something to trim a few branches around stand sites... prefer something easy to carry if possible.
It can be screwed into a common telescoping rod, such as the ones you by at a hardware store for painting or changing light bulbs.
I've used one for years and it works great. I've found that you can replace the blades with "Coghlan" brand blades. (Coghlans are common and are cheaper than replacing with the original blades. I believe they are the sam teeth configuration also.)
Yes, I have one. It is OK, but it is kind of cheap and 6' is not long enough. I would just go to Menards and buy the Fiskers 12' pruner/saw with a guarantee when they are on sale for $20.
