Any advantage to call during the late season? I have heard a lot about the secondary rut and didn't know if calling and or rattling would be of any use. Thoughts?
 
I don't think it'll do you much good jmho. The only thing I can see working is a doe estrus bleat. but, you have to use it now (within the next day or two). Also, you probably want to use a doe decoy/scents with it. I don't think it'll attract a buck enough for it to come looking from a distance. It's going to be something you'll have to use/position in the general feeding area.
