For those of you who are thinking about camping at Lake Hendricks in Riceville make sure you watch your stuff. I took my two boys up there for a 3 day outting and when we got up this morning we discovered that things had been stolen from our campsite. Rods, reels, tackle, firewood. So, if you are making plans to stay here, make sure you don't make the same mistake I did. Keep everything everything locked up. I have been going to this campsite for several years and have always been comfortable there. Everything that was taken was within 10 feet of our tent. The staff at the park didn't seem to be all that concerned about the situation either. Guess it is time to find another place to camp.
