Camtrakker brand trail camera ??

I used to have an older 35mm camtrakker. Great cameras. I would love to own another but the price is steep.

I own the new Digital Camera with slave flash. I absolutely love it! Price is high but you get a hell of a camera. It takes great pics with very few butt shots. I will probably get my second one next year. If you have any specific questions just let me know!!

Thunder Ridge, if you could recommend one brand what would it be? I've had bad experiences so far (as in, they don't work). I have been price shy and don't really want to spend anymore money on crap. Is it worth it to get go digital?

I don't have one but I would say it is def. worth it to get a digital. you are going to end up spending the money on photos, that you don't know what they even are. with a digital all you have to do is put them on your comp and delete the ones off of your card you don't like.

Digital is the only way to go! You will love it! I am a camtrakker fan even though I had issues with my last one and a special battery pack. I had the unit 2.5 years and I called and talked to the owner after a technician got shitty with me and he replaced my unit with the latest unit with the Sony 6.0 mp. I love it and you can use the camera for family get-togethers and then put it back in the field! Its damn pricey but it has worked great for me!! Good Luck!

Are they using the sony s600 now? If so its a great camera but a tad on the slow side at night, around 4 secs and 2 secs during the day.

Its still a great camera. They are great over bait or scraps. They have a tremdous flash range so you canhave them farther back from the trail and still get good shots
