I have chased them with a bow for about a decade and shot a couple dozen. The one thing I have learned...shoot a big head! YOU WILL BE amazed what these birds can take and keep trucking. I have started using the Turkey Tomahawk by Rocket the past 2 years and haven't had any issues. 2 3/4" at 125 grains. Rage wouldn't be bad either though or the rocket hammerhead. Have had good luck with both. You must aim higher and further back that you ever imagined on broadsde shots. So many are lost with breast shots. In my opinion, The best shot is going away in the spine. Never chase em, they almost always hop off and find the first bush, log etc and lay down. You will find them later, chase em and they get a second wind. Trust me. I have made that mistake! In any case, shoot the broadhead that you have the most confidence in and are THE MOST ACCURATE! That comes before cut or speed. Just my 2 cents.
