I just finished up this call. Its my favorite so far. Black Walnut pot Slate over Glass. The striker is made from some brazilian hardwood not sure what its name is. Sounds awesome and I hope it bring in a big ole tom this spring. I don't know why its looks so light colored in the second picture its dark like the first one

I think the reason the second pic is lighter is because the walnut was reflecting the camera flash. Walnut tends to do a little color shifting when you tilt in the light. Nice work on the call! Are you turning your strikers our of a single piece of wood or are they two pieces?

Great looking call! It almost looks too good to take out in the woods though. ha, ha I'd be worried about losing it. Like I do with about 2-3 calls each year. Good thing most of the calls I use are pretty cheap. LOL
