Just curious what brand of carbon arrows everyone is shooting. I am shooting a carbon revolution premier select 200 and 300 arrow I like really well. However, I would like to try something different. What would be the best arrow to compare to these??? Thanks Alot

Just bought a half dozen Carbon Express Maxima hunters. They literaly cut my groups in half at 20-50 yards. I must say I was impressed.

I shoot Carbon Express 6075. They are a great all around hunting arrow for the money. I have yet to not get a complete pass thru. Even at 43 yards as with my buck this year! I would recommend them if you don't want to spend a fortune. But I'm sure these others mentioned are great arrows too.

Shredder talked me into some A/C/C/'s this year.....Silvertip talked Shredder into them prior to that.....I must say.....SWEET!

Gold tips or Axis. Had really good luck with both of them. More Gold Tip for 3d's.

Tried the Axis shafts last year but had some troubles with the three blade muzzy's planing a bit. Switched to Rocky Mountain broadheads and solved most of the planing issues. This year I'm going to experiment with some expandables on the Axis and try some Gold Tips too. One word of caution I did have some problems with the 2" blazer vanes sticking to the axis shafts.

Willie, what kind of glue did you use? It seems to me you have to use the right type of glue with the Blazers. Someone else here can help me remember the type.

If I remember correctly it ended up being a Bohning product - either the bond tite cement or the fast gel fletching cement. The bohning vanes have a chemically treated base and I think between that, the adhesive and the shaft something wasn't working together. I think it took three times to the shop before I had a combo that worked. I still have one shaft that refuses to bond with the vane.

I'm going to use them this turkey season with some expandables and then switch to some gold tips and regular vanes. I was shooting a whisker and I really liked the durability of the blazer vane. This year the Hoyt is gonna have a drop away

Goat Tuff has worked really well for me in bonding Blazers to Gold Tip carbon arrows.
