Went for a quick little fishing trip before work friday. I was throwing a 10 inch worm with only a few little bass wanting anything to do with it. I kept watching minnows on the top come jumping out of the water and finally I saw a big boil on the surface. I knew a big fish was chasing the minnows. I grabber a popper out of my tacklebox and cast it out in the same spot I saw the boil. I didn't pop it three times when this 22 inch bass smoked it. What a fight I had on 6lb test so it took me a while to get her in. I probably could have got anther half inch if I would have pinched the tail. I don't know what she weighed but it was well over 5 pounds. of course I only had my cell phone to take a picture. I put her back to someday catch her again
