Cell cams

Hey guys, I have a friend that owns a few apartment buildings. Recently he's had a bad streak of stupid people doing stupid things. He wants to get security cameras up but cost is pretty crazy and internet service and modem connection is something that isn't there. I suggested maybe cells cams?

I've never used cell cams, so here's the questions...

1) Since there may be a lot of normal activity, how easy would it be to sift through all the vids and pics of maybe 6-8 hrs worth if he knew something happened in a given time frame?

2) Since there may be a lot of normal activity, are there data caps on these plans?

3) If he knew something stupid occurred at say 2:30 am, how difficult is it to go straight to a specific point in time and look at the videos?

Any suggestions or better ideas are much appreciated. Thanks!

I run Stealthcam and Muddy cams and can easily do all you listed. In his situation I'd use an unlimited plan. Which means unlimited data. If you set the camera to video mode you get 10 full video downloads a month. The rest of the videos can be viewed on the app as a gif and will be saved to the memory on the camera. They also have models that if you get a notification you can switch to OnDemand/LiveMode and watch a live streamed video to your phone. This video can also be recorded and saved. Really cool!

When using the app, there's filters to filter on certain time(s), date ranges, etc. I think it'd work well for what you're describing!
