Census Mineral?

I have about 4 bags of water softner salt that i have used with great success over the past 2 years for mineral sites during the summer months. However when it comes census time in the winter, they dont seem as interested. I am considering getting a bag of corn to set out for a few months. Would it be wise to mix corn and salt? Just the corn? Or just try and use the salt again and hope?Thoughts?

i dont think the deer crave the salt during the winter, i think if you se corn you will very happy you did. i personally would save the salt for spring/summer.

The best thing that has worked for me this time of year is corn with some acorn rage mix in with it.

Poeple say to use rice bran instead of corn bc its got more minerals and vitamins and a higher fat content. Just my 2 cents
