I hadn't been able to get out chasing old three toes due to all the rain we've had. I refuse to shoot a wet bird and then it was just too muddy to even get into my ground to hunt. The weather has finally turned around and it's drying out. Went out with the longbow Monday for a mid day hunt but nothing. I then went back to the same spot yesterday evening with my flintlock and this guy cooperated. 
20 lbs. 1 inch hooks and 9 inch beard. Bird was only five yards when I shot, I almost missed him as he just stood there after the shot. but about 30 seconds later, he was on his back.
Our season runs to the end of May so I might get another tag as we're allowed three.
