Cerakoted my 870

My brother-in-law & I Cerakoted my 870 & some other gun parts yesterday. He's been doing it for about a year. It's not hard to do provided you have the Cerakote kit & have access to a clean sandblaster & an oven to bake the parts in. The absolute hardest part is metal preparation which is also the most time consuming. The color I used is Burnt Bronze.

Looks sweet, I know I could google it but, for a gun "DUMB DUMB" - what is that all about or advantages? Does it also go in inside of barrel & gun or just outside? Approx cost? Looks great!

You can do the "inside" of most moving parts depending on tolerances of the fit. You can't do the bore. You can do wood, plastic, & metals. Surface prep is the key & has to be done correctly. I did it to weatherproof the exterior. I spend a lot of time in wet grass, rain & snow w/ this gun. This stuff is amazing. Check out these 2 links. Be sure to check out the product testing videos.

You can take a used/junk gun & make it something great.
