After getting a few pics of does stomping thier feet at my camera, I wondered if any of you change your set-ups clear away from your stand sites as the season nears?
After mid-September we take our cameras out of sensitive areas. We move them more towards the edges of our hunting areas, where ground scent is not as much of a concern. Once we are hunting regularly, we will sometimes hang a camera for a couple of days on a route to a particular stand. When things really get going (November), cameras are the last thing I want to be concerned with, last year we took them down and just hunted
Another way to approach the situation is to turn the flash off and switch the run time to daylight only....the new digials make essentially no noise with pics and the deer get no visuals of what is taking place.
