I need another cam.....found a scrape line yesterday while movng a stand. At least 30 scrapes in 1/2 mile on a field edge, most as big as a car hood. It's silly. Hung one cam.....but I want another out there on the opposite side of the field. Of the cheap cams out there, under $150 which one is the best bang for the buck?

D40, it is the only one I have so I can't compare it to anything but for less than a hundy it does good. It has trouble with white balance but I think If I turned it to face more north than southeast it would be better. Battery life seems prety good. I change batters at 50% but they could probably still take plenty of pics. If I had to guess I get several hundred, maybe 500 per battery load. That is set at high res every one minute. Lots of my pics are of squirrels, I get several blnk pics too, nit sure what might be triggering them, maybe soemthing moving too fast.
