Cheapest Internet & Cable in Iowa???

Yes, this is a deer hunting site BUT I suppose I could relate this post to Iowawhitetail.com and being online :)
We live in Des Moines, get Mediacom with regular channels (we don't get like outdoor channel, military, etc- just get basics) and get internet- I think it's like $95 a month with tax about. What providers you all have? our internet is pretty slow too by the way. Any help appreciated!
 
I pay like 60 something a month for dish network and I get all the outdoor channels and free HD for life.. for internet on the other hand I use verizon mifi and it is $65 a month and it sucks.. the only reason I still have it is for my girlfriends nursing school

Ya- I got this 4G thing from work for Verizon BUT it's a big hassle, it always turns off, sometimes doesn't work, etc. Kinda a pain so I just use the Mediacom internet at our house.
 
I go with Windstream bundle.. It is 6G internet, 2 hd receivers and 1 dvr receiver, Americas 250, w/added sports bundle so I get my hunting channels and nfl redzone. I think our bill is like $160 a month...
 
Don't waste your money on cable, haven't had it in 4 years and don't miss it a bit. Try it for a month and you wont either. All the networks are HD now with a digital antenna and its better tv IMO. Every time I go home for Christmas I flip through the 400 channels my parents get and its all crap. I just have internet on my phone, I get plenty of that at work.
 
I have dishnetwork with top 250 channels, hd, sportsman channel and outdoor channel, with dvr. for around $70 per month, also have (qwest) century link internet and wifi for $30 per month. They come in a package deal.
Have had this package for a while and have been happy with it.
 
Internet wise, we get screwed not many providers and I think for that reason mediacom can really stick it to us. I wish we had Cox around and a few other internet providers.
 
We just signed up for mediacom internet. 19.99 a month for the first year and 29.99 a month the second year. With a 50 dollar cash back promotion. 12mbps. I'm running about 6mbps right now and haven't had any issues. They should be here to install it Jan. 5th. Also have dish network at just under 50 bucks a month.
 
The company I work for, we sell internet and cable bundled, internet is 5 meg and we have 78 channels in basic cable for 40 bucks a month... if you step up to our hd/digital cable you get 475 channels, and its 60 bucks a month with the internet....and its an all fiber connection...we are building our plant all Fiber to the Premise... And we can offer up to 100meg service... And if you bundle all of our very top packages, 500 channels, 15 meg internet, and phone, its like 120 and that includes 4 hd boxes if I remember correctly. but we are a rural independent company
 
Flugge- will u pm me or tell me how I can sign up for 475 channels and Internet for 60 a month. Sounds like the ticket 4 me!!!
 
Sorry Guys, hate to tell ya unless you live in my area, you are SOL... We are doing all Fiber to the Premise..So we can offer a ton of stuff now...but its only in North Central Iowa...Sorry guys!
