One of my accounts sent that to me today, and said it is supposed to be the Albia Buck. Weirdest looking buck I've seen in a while.

Breaking news new world record only 8" wide!!!. Yeah right that is a catus buck he is still in velvet when was the Albia buck killed? Cactus bucks stay in velvet year round.

It looks to me as if the velvet is just beginning to start to peal off (look closely to the end of the left main beam). Cactus bucks stay in velvet year round and annually add more mass. I think this buck is not a cactus buck, but one that was shot early in the season before he lost his velvet.
If this is the Albia buck (which I don't believe it is), its physical characteristics have changed drastically. No matter what, this still is an awesome whitetail, one that I would gladly place my tag on.
