Checking cameras

I have a camera that is over the field that I have my blind set up in. I've been waiting about a week each time to go check the camera. Is this about right? I dont know if checking it to often will run them out of there or not.

I check mine about once every two weeks. During the season if you're going by them a little more often into/out of the blind/stand check it more often.

as long as you dont have to go through your woods to get to it shouldn't be much of a problem. also check towards middle of day when they are most likely not to be in field. i check about every 2 this time of year, 3 to 4 if i have them out early summer.

I have one of my cams set up on a fence that separates a corn field from a bedding area. After locating some really nice deer I have made a point to only check it when the wind is blowing away from the bedding area in the middle of the day.

This might be too extreme, but I will be hanging a stand fairly close to this camera location and don't want to put out too much scent and effect these bucks and their patterns.
