I believe it differs by city. I have thought about a few of those hunts myself. Some you show written permission from the land owner, then take a bow proficency test, then get the tag. Others I believe the Bow hunters education course is required. I hear that more and more might require the bow Ed class. I just took a couple DNR classes to become a Hunters Ed Instructor, know I'm working on the bow ed class. I noticed in another thread about shooting does only in some. I have been looking at the Squaw creek area in Marion. I think once you take a doe you can get an either sex tag, course that is a limited tag hunt and not necessarily a city limit hunt.
