IAbowhunter18,
I have last year's model of the Summmit Viper, and I love it. It is quiet, light, and very comfortable. It comes with a padded backrest, and cushions for all side rails. It also comes equipped with rapid climbing stirrups to help you climb the tree quicker and more easily. It cost around $250. It also comes with backpack straps so you can wear it as a backpack. One thing that I like about it is that I can just put it on my back, walk into my hunting area and when I find a good place to set-up, I simply climb a tree. I already have treestands put up, but I use this for the areas that I don't already have treestands in. For instance, last season, I was hunting a ridge line and noticed that all of the deer movement was about 75 yards below me in the valley. The next morning I carried my climbing stand in with me, set up, and harvested a big doe. My advice is to go with a Summit climbing stand, they are well worth the price.
