The camo coat & bibs I have are 14 years old now & each year I find out that they aren't waterproof & are barely warm anymore.

What camo coat is waterproof & warm that doesn't cost $300? I need bibs too. What do you guys wear?
 
The Red Head Bone Dry C.W.S series from Bass Pro are great. The bone dry is their version of gore tex and I sat in the rain last friday and was dry and warm. I have the insulated pants so not bibs but with the pants and parka should stay plenty warm and dry.
 
Check out Rivers West, Bibs are great, not a huge fan of the coats as they are a little loud for my taste.
 
mt050 whitetail extreme. Stuff is awesome. Costs $299.99 for the coat. Hey, you said under $300 :) The windshear berber fleece and woltimate windshear is some awesome stuff. I bought the vest and it is the warmest thing I own for the light weight. Will be picking up the wooltimate pull over.

Just got them yesterday, will be using these during 1st season shotgun this year. They did however have very good reviews from others on the UA site.

One thing that I was impressed with with both of these is the flexibility I had. The coat is very easy to roll up and stow away if need be for all you bowhunters out there.
 
I got in on the $30 off shipping & a great sale Cabela's had. Got the gore-tex whitetail extreme coat & bibs for under $360 shipped. That's almost 1/2 price, couldn't pass it up. I'll let you know how they work, if I'm still sitting in a tree during Turkey Day.
 
I bought some Rutwear brand gear that Scheel's sold a coupl years ago and absolutely love it. Not sure if it is still sold locally or not but would highly recomed if you can find it.

Both of these are great! For bowhunters during October and November, not for the shotgun hunters in December. These bibs and coat would be the perfect set for me, they just weren't warm enough! I walked through tons of bur bushes, thorns, and stickers, and nothing stuck to these bibs, they are awesome. They don't have any rips in them from the thorns either. The design on the bibs and jacket is perfect, but they just weren't warm enough for me. I can't decide to either keep them and wear more/better layers or try to sell them to a bowhunter. :S
