Cold Weather Adjustments?

I decided to leave my bow outside for about one hour in temps in the high teens before I shot it this am. Just wanted to see if cold weather had any impact on performance.

I found that my groupings became very inconsistent. As well my peep wasn't centering as it was in warm weather.

Two days ago I gave the strings a waxing and was wondering if that had anything to do with the problems I encountered. I shot the bow "warm" after the waxing and had no problems.

Any ideas what I might be experiencing?
I have been shooting almost everyday for the past 6 months and have been consistent in my grouping so I don't think out of practice is an issue. Thanks

I don't see where the cold would affect your bow much, doesn't seem too effect my bow anyway, it lives outside in the truck during huntin' season. I had a similiar problem a few years back, turned out my jacket was a little tight thru the shoulders and restricting my range of motion. or if your sleeve is a little bulky, the string might hittin' it. doesn't take much.

I think I got this figured out. I waxed my strings and applied a very liberal amount of wax at the time. I worked it into the strings well but some of the wax built up and got onto the cams. I believe this caused my string to not twist properly so my peep wasn't lining up as it was. I did't notice I wasn't aiming through a round peep which explained the offcenter shots. After cleaning the cams the peep started lining up properly and everything seems fine.

Combine this with nerves and anxiousness from seeing arrows not hitting anywhere close to the spot and I believe I have solved the issue.

Ain't it crazy how your personal feelings can affect the shot? Been there, done that!
