I'm headed down to SW/W IA to do some deer hunting and wondering how the roads and fields are holding up after 5"+ of rain? Sounds like a slop from what my dad tells me. How bout a crop report, this will put them at a stand still for a while. Thanks for the heads up,
Jordan

Yeah it did for a while and but guys in the hills were back pickin today. its going to be a little muddy in spots but its drying up! we got alot of rain and it was just gloomy but today was nice and sunny and windy so it will dry fast but they are talking rain sunday so hit it hard sat good luck keep us posted if you have any success!

Thanks guys, we didn't plan on making to any of the spots on any dirt road. Looks like its going to be windy on Sunday and warm on Saturday...gonna give it a shot anyway. Hope to get some cool footage and maybe a doe kill.

Very difficult hunting conditions, forget traveling on any dirt roads. I walked in over a mile yesterday evening to one of my favorite spots. I saw a lot of deer, but nothing real special. There are still a lot of crops in the fields also. Rivers and creeks are real high! Tough hunting!
