confusion

i guess there was confusion with y'all. i wasnt asking for you tell me where you hunt, god knows i will take care of that myself. i just simply wanted to know what the deal is with the farmers, do they let people hunt on there land for trespass fees or not. i would hate to drive 750 miles to find out i am intruding on peoeple. i would rather sell kirby's door to door than do this
i am just asking for some advice. where are the regions i should be hunting and where to stay away from.

if you knock on doors chances are you'll find a place to hunt. just get ready to shell out the $$$ for the tags and such. the area of illinois that you're from should hold just as big of deer as iowa. maybe you should find other property on your side of the river and save yourself time and $$$$ looking for a new place?

if you don't know anybody, just start knocking on doors. sooner or later you will find a few who will let you hunt. it would be better for you to have a few places lined up before the season, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

some farmers are really good about letting guys hunt, some aren't. some hunt themselves, or have family/friends they save their places for.
