congradulations to council bluff hunters!!

Bummer, less sheds to find for those in the area. Also, I'm not to sure with the city health directing saying that he didn't reach his goal of 200 deer because it didn't snow. I don't know when CB starts, but most urban hunts begin Sept. 10th, from what I have alwasy been told once Nov. comes not to many guys in the city hunts continue to hunt in the city, they are out on the private ground.
 
it runs to january 29, i believe. i would bet that snow would drive them into the city, for easy food and protection. bummer year for late season hunting
 
From what I have witnessed first hand in city hunts is too many hunters and not enough ground. These deer are no different than statewide deer and soon find PRIVATE hiding places that no one can hunt them on. Cities don't seem to have enough ground to properly accomidate all the hunters. After a few years people get tired of having stands within 30 yards of their stands and just give up
