If im planting brassicas in a mix with clovers and oats is it OK to plant them in consecutive years. I have read about rotating them but didn't no if that was only for planting them alone?

I asked the same question to Owen Reigler's midwest whitetail YouTube vid last week. He's acknowledged you will want to rotate eventually, but his approach is that by putting in a mix of brassicas and various clovers it helps prevent soil disease...as opposed to just planting straight monoculture of brassicas

I've spring planted crimson clover and fall planted brassicas in the same plot going on 6 years.

Agreed, I’ve planted turnips on turnips on the turnips for 6-7-8 years in the same plots; have had zero issues with growth.

Because Owen shoots big bucks that makes him an agronomist. Be curious to know why he says you can’t plant turnips multiple years and have success………
