Corn doe

I hope everyone can forgive me for any pointless posts I may or may not make before the bow season starts. They help to take my mind off of Oct. 1, at least for a few minutes.
This is just a doe that I spotted in a waterway while driving out in Madison County. I got lucky and ended up with a couple of good pics. If you look close you can see she's chewing on some corn.

Thats just the kind of doe i'm looking to put in my freezer this weekend! I hunt WI and we need to thin the herd. Our bow season starts 9-13.Good luck to you!

That's a nice picture.

I'm also envious of someone that is hunting already. Good luck in Wis.

I am headed to wisconsin next weekend. I can not wait to whack some does!! How did you get such a clear picture? Pretty awesome pic!

Your post caught my eye on the title name of "Corn Doe". If you look at my profile pic you'll notice a nice buck eating on a cob of corn, which my file name is "Corn Buck" I snapped this shot off the front porch of my fathers house in PA. This was three years ago and after a long pursuit with a bow by my Dad a neighbor harvested him this past gun season. His gross score had him well over 170 inches.

Madison, consider yourself lucky you only have to wait until the Oct 1st. I don't get to go back home and hunt until Halloween.(But I will have 3 weeks when I get there) 6 weeks of practice.Nice picture.
