Coyote Activity

Do any of you see much activity for coyotes in the mid-morning timeframe? During a shotgun season in a couple years, I have seen a coyote moving around at about 10:00am (got one around then a couple years ago). Just wondered if anyone else sees many in that timeframe this time of year. I know it's probably not the best time of day for calling, but maybe just to catch one out and about. Last Sunday when I was out I saw a lot of coyote tracks (more of those than deer tracks) in one of the places I hunt.

I don't see much movement mid morning through mid afternoon typically. However, on a nice sunny day, it's not uncommon to see them out sunning themselves outside of the thick nasty stuff they typically hide in. I certainly wouldn't be opposed to trying some calling.

I see coyote Mid morning when I am hunting not every day but enough to agree that they are moving mid mornings
