Been terrible where I'll located. Usually got a big group of trucks that run them but lack of snow has been hard on that. Calling has only worked a couple times waiting for breeding and try my decoy out
Id recommend foxpro callers easy to use and sound great! Or money saving way get a foxpro skyote mouth call call can make every sound ya need just with that
What sounds are you guys using that have called in a few? I've been out a few times with none called in. I'm using a foxpro firestorm and plan to go to mostly coyote vocals for awhile

Been doin a lot if distress sounds. I Always finish with a pup distress have had that bring some in when nothing else will. But with breeding happening soon will be doing a lot of coyote vocals
I plan on going Thursday all day. The only problem is I have to use a shotgun with shot per the landowners request. Going to be tough I have a feeling. I am hoping 3.5inch turkey loads will bring them down.
Liv4rut. Try using dead coyote. They are expensive but deadly on coyotes a friend i go calling with only uses a shotgun and ive seen him drop them at 60all yards! Good luck:way:
I always used to try getting one with the .22 mag kind of made it a personal challenge I guess. When I went to my regular spots that I would hunt with the 22-250 I found that the coyotes rarely came within 100 yards. So while carrying the .22 mag I would set up where if i could see the coyote it would already be in range. Seemed to help because the coyote would have to come into range if they really wanted to see what was making the noise. I found when holding a high power it's nice to be able to see them conning from 400 yards but most will have you figured out by the time they reach 100. Might want to try the same strategy with the shotgun. Only downfall to that is sitting wondering if there's a coyote just over the next hump. I've stood up when done calling before just in time to see them headed back they way they came. So when I use that setup I stay on call an extra 10 minutes.
