Crackerized...?

Anyone here on IW shooting a "Crackerized" bow set-up? I took mine down a couple of weeks ago and just got the call that it is done. Flying down Friday afternoon to get it. I am pumped to see it and shoot it.

Make sure you give the report... I am curious to know if you notice a difference. I would also like to see some pics!

Mike is suppose to work magic I am interested to get an unbiased opinion.

I bought a used '04 Hoyt UltraTec that Mike Carter had worked over before I bought it. Nice shooting bow and still my favorite. I haven't heard of anyone not seeing significant improvements in their bow after Mike tweaks it.

I have had a couple done by Mike. He builds an awesome string/cable. Yes, even better than WC. He has it down to a science. I noticed a huge difference in a Colored bow I had a couple years ago.

Mike Carter (A.K.A Crackers) is a bow technician in St Joseph , Mo. that IMO is an absolute bow wizard/magician when it comes to bow tuning and building custom strings. I have personally met him twice and have to admit that he is one of the most knowledgeable guys I have ever talked to about bows and tuning bows. I have never had a “Crackerized” bow until now but my uncle and my dad had theres done last fall and say it was well worth the money to get it done. We’ll see in time. I will post pics and performance report after I get it and shoot it.

Rudd, nice looking bow and I will agree with you that he does build one of the best custom string/cables for bows I have ever seen.

Fine tunes bow to find the sweet spot, builds string/cable and installs. Shoots it. Back when he did mine it was still cheaper than a WC and that included shipping. He had mine back to me in about a week.

You have got me interested also and I am not that far from St.Joe MO. What is his address and rest of that info. Does he have a web page?
