Why is it the hunting seasons all end on the same day?Well not all but enough of em to cause mass confusion.Yesterday we were out trying to fill a couple deer tags and I couldnt believe the number of people.Every parking lot had several vehicals in it and every vehical seemed to have several guys.pheasant hunters were winding up in the middle of deer drives, people trying to sit in stands had someone under them constantly, mutiple groups of late ML hunters were all trying to get shots at the same bunches of deer.It created what looked like a really dangerous situation made worse by the nice weather which had everone and their dogs out hunting.We quit hunting at noon because of it deciding it might be safer to go back out and sit in a stand after pheasant season was officialy over.Wouldnt it make more sense to close these seasons a couple days apart or something?Besides the local hunters there was dozens of vehichles from Minn down for the last day of pheasant season.Im not saying they were at fault for anything, its just kinds scary seeing gun barrels every time you come around a bush.I staked out a small slough hole yesterday morning to try and get a doe with my bow from the ground.The sun came up and there was a guy in a orange vest sitting 100 yrds away with a ML.And it got worse from there.Maybe it wasnt that bad everywhere in the state but around here it was worse than the opening day of pheasant season, total chaos.
