So I had a crazy thing happen on Friday evening. I have a group of 4 MONSTERS on the property I hunt so I have been going down there waiting for just one of them to come under my deer stand and I have bought the decoy "miss November". I had a 150+ class 10 pointer come right under me and was all about the decoy but I let him walk because i know he is not one of the 4 I am after. It was getting closer to dark and I had gotten down a little early since I had a long drive and dinner plans and as I am walking back to my car I spot the largest of the 4 bucks about 200 yards away. I put miss november in front of me and make one call and he turns and looks. I just crawled 5 yards to my bow to get ready in case he came and by the time I turned around he was already looking over my decoy right at me from 5 yards away! he is huge and I cant believe how fast he came running to my decoy! He snorted and ran off after i looked at him in complete disbelief on how fast he got there....................thought you guys would get a kick out of that. As mad as I was all I could do was laugh in the end as its a great story for the FIRST day I have ever used a decoy.
