Crock Pot Deer Taco Soup

BDAHMS

Be here Now
I know I know- another recipe :D but with not much going on and making new recipes I really enjoy- I figured why not post so you can try:)

This one is extremely easy as well- this is a double batch we made- so if you want to make normal batch- just cut everything in half

You will need-
2 LBS of ground Venison
2 cans of corn
2 cans of black beans
2 cans of kidney beans (forgot to put in picture)
1 large can of sliced tomatoes
1 can or rotel
2 packets of dry ranch mix
2 packets of taco seasoning
1 big bag of fritos
1 container of Sour Cream
1 bag of shredded cheese

open all the cans of veggies and beans, drain most of the liquid out (dont need it all out) and pour into crockpot
add 2 packages of dry ranch seasoning and mix well
brown ground deer and once its fully cooked - add both packages of taco seasoning mix and stir for a few minutes until all the meat is coated (I add 1 cup of water when browning)
add meat to crock pot and mix well

put crock pot on low for 3-4 hours and stir every hour or so- will definately start to smell AMAZING!

after 4 hours- scoop out into bowl- put in a spoonful of sour cream, handful of Fritos and shredded cheese - mix and enjoy! Also like chili with the fritos as the crackers.

this is am amazing soup- very easy and a non labor intense meal!

If you try it- let me know what you think!

sorry for the crappy picture in the crock pot- i was in a hurry making it over lunch today and just snapped a quick photo and ran out of the door to a customers

I'm all for seeing new recipes. I think I get fixated on the same rotation of recipes with my venison. Always nice to try something new. Thanks for posting...looks really good!

I agree- had the same 3-4 things I made EVERY time. Kind of the reason I am posting- mix it up a bit!

Definitely try this though- a ton of flavor with the taco and ranch seasonings- very meaty and the Fritos make it. try this one at least once
