First of all- Happy Thanksgiving all.
My question- are “crossbow” broadheads different than a regular broadhead? My FIL shoots a crossbow and vertical bow (don’t get me started) but he uses the same broadheads and doesn’t want to do anything different (his crossbow shots have been a lot less than good) and it got me wondering if crossbow broadheads are at all designed slightly different to handle the speeds? Anyone have insight on that?
To further muddy the waters- he doesn’t shoot broadheads to practice (or hasn’t yet) so he has no real idea on how it actually shoots with a broadhead, and that’s a whole topic I’m gonna have to have with him.
I’ve only been looking online at them and don’t “see” much of a different but figured maybe someone could give me real world insight before I battle the FIL with knowledge he doesn’t want.
Thanks!
