Crossbows in Nebraska

Thats not good. I dont really live the idea of crossbows (unless you have a disability). If they wanted to allow crossbow hunting maybe they should have made a new season lasting a week or two. I feel for ya I hope they reconsider.
 
I feel for you, it got passed in Pa. this year after fighting it for several years. I was so mad, I wrote the game comissioners before it was passed, only one sided with me. It's all about revenue, not us traditional hunters who know what "archery" really is about. I agree, if they are going to allow it then they should have there own season, like February 28th to the 29th....:)
 
It's really not so much the crossbows that upset me on this, it's our Game & Parks ramming it through in a hurry. They had told the NBA awhile back that it wouldn't be voted on until 2011. Then just a week ago, they notified them that the vote was yesterday. Pretty hard to have any input on such short notice.
 
I have a torn Rotator Cuff. I thought I might qualify for a crossbow, but I dont really like hunting unless there is snow on the ground, and I like my guns :)
