I've been having some difficulties with one of my cuddebacks. On 3 seperate occassions when trying to read my CF card, it comes up:
E:\DCII is not accessible
The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable.
Any of you ever had this message? I believe this ruins the card as it is not readable in any format, PC, Printer, Digital Camera. However, after driving 2 hours round trip yesterday and having 206 pics on my card and not being able to read the card I started doing some testing. I found that when I took the card out of the cudde, the cudde would show 0 images, when putting the card back in it would show up 206 images again. So I knew that the card still held the images. This is also a relatively new card, it's 1gb card that was only on it's second use. I know enough not to remove the card when the camera states "Do Not Remove Card" so this isn't the issue. This is also the 3rd different brand of card this has happened to.
I plan on calling the Cuddeback tomorrow to see what they can do to help. The good news is that I was able to hook up the cudde through my TV and view the images, which was good as I had some great pics of several really nice 4 pts. Unfortunately, I can't share these pics with you all until I can get them downloaded to a PC. Any suggestions? Anyone else have this issue and figure out something that I can't?
I would appreciate your thoughts and suggestions.
By the way, I believe this may be an individual camera issue as I have only experience this error with one of my camera's (the camera was purchased new at the end of the '05 season).
Thanks again,
Ryan
